A Legacy of Craftsmanship and Passion for Building
Hello! I’m Jason, a third-generation carpenter and home builder with deep roots in the construction industry. Growing up in Isanti County, I’ve spent my entire life immersed in the world of home building and construction. With decades of hands-on experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a personal commitment to every project I take on.
Construction isn’t just a career for me – it’s in my blood. My family has been building homes for generations, and I’ve had the privilege of learning from those who came before me. Over the years, I’ve gained a unique perspective, combining traditional craftsmanship with the latest industry innovations to ensure every home I work on is built to last, and built right.
I’m proud to call Isanti County home, and I feel a deep connection to the community. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors – hunting, fishing, hiking, and traveling. Flying airplanes is another passion of mine, and whenever I get the chance, I take to the skies to see the world from a different perspective.

The Next Generation
Jake will be the third generation to lead Semler Homes one day but for now he is the Project/Warranty Manager and is responsible for the day to day activities on the job site and is the liaison between the sub-contractors, the customers and the office. He also meets with customers before and after closing to attend to service and maintenance matters.
In his spare time he likes sports, fantasy football, golfing and hanging out with family and friends. Jake currently lives in Circle Pines with his soon to be wife and their dog Winston.
